The possible location of a given animal at various sites can be detected with the help of the Map tab. Using this tab, you can find the regions where the species has been observed. A detailed map is located on the left-hand side of this tab. You can scroll through it in order to get the best view.

On the right-hand side of this tab you will see a list of sites where the selected species has been observed. After clicking one of these items the map will change its position into the central one.

You can change the scale of the map either by dragging the Scale slider or by rolling the mouse wheel while holding the cursor on the map.

If you use some additional MapTech maps, you may switch between them while changing the scale.

You can also choose a suitable position of the map either by dragging the Vertical and Horizontal slides or by dragging the map with the mouse while holding down the left mouse button.
